COWI Economics & Management provides technical assistance projects and policy studies within the sectors of environment and water, transport, energy, climate and urban development. We provide high quality advice to our customers because we build on the solid technical expertise of our consulting engineer business, which counts more than 7300 employees worldwide. We are looking for a consultant for our Business Development Team supporting large international proposals.
You will become part of a competent and dedicated team of experienced consultants working from Brussels and Denmark. Your tasks will be to support processes for EOIs and proposals, including:
  • Screening of project opportunities
  • Support for project pipeline meetings
  • Preparation of marketing material, e.g. project references, CV database, company profiles
  • Expert search and CV profiling
  • Proposal process management, including dialogue with partners and experts
  • Proposal drafting.


You hold a Masters degree within economics, law, public administration, political science or engineering. Your written and spoken English is excellent and it is an advantage if you speak and write French and/or Portuguese. You have strong capabilities with the Microsoft Office Package and working knowledge of data bases and computer-based administration systems is an advantage. Experience working on projects and proposals financed by international donors such as EU, EIB, Danida, DFID, WB is an advantage. Knowledge of EU procurement rules (PRAG) will be an asset.
