We have an opportunity for an Advanced Systems Engineer to join our Aerospace team in Brno. Drive and participate on development of software Aerospace systems and work for n.1 European customers such as Pilatus or Dassault.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement’s definition, design, interface definition, coding, testing, certification aspects and integration of Integrated Flight Deck Systems
  • Support certification of flight software
  • cooperation with Software team on definition and testing of avionic software
  • Provide estimates, designs and architectures for future products and proposals
  • Make sure all goals are completed in a satisfactory manner and issues timely communicated
  • Develop, mentor and coach the team and its know-how
  • Support Honeywell organization in their initiatives

Key requirements

  • University degree, preferably in aerospace, electrical engineering or automation
  • 3 years’ experience with designing or verifying electronic software systems
  • Advanced knowledge of using Office package (we are working mainly with Excel, Access)
  • Fluent command of English language for regular communication with colleagues globally
  • Self-starter approach, ability to investigate, someone who is able to takes initiative

  • Experience working in MATLAB environment
  • Experience working in safety analysis tools (CAFTA)
  • Knowledge of certification aspects and methods of Aerospace programs
  • Capability and willingness to travel to USA for trainings business meetings and work on project

Honeywell offer a hybrid solution of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working, some flexibility would be considered on a case by case basis
